Four class 10 students were allegedly attacked on Saturday at a school in Mayur Vihar Phase 2 with a knife by students from another institution as they returned home from their class 10 CBSE board exams, police said after apprehending two of the alleged assailants.
Police said three of the students sustained minor injuries and were released after receiving treatment. The fourth is currently being treated at the AIIMS Trauma Center.
The four – pupils from a school in Trilokpuri – took an exam at Mayur Vihar Phase 2 school, which was the examination center, when they brawled with class 10 pupils from a school. from Shakarpur, who also passed the test. at the same center.
Police said the cause of the fight was not immediately clear. “Pandav Nagar Police Station received three PCR calls reporting a quarrel between students at a school. We found that four victims were under treatment for acute injuries, ”police said on Saturday.
Police registered a case under Articles 324/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). On Saturday evening, police apprehended two of the attackers.
A senior official at the school where the injured students are enrolled said their parents had been informed of the incident.
