The Union Civil Service Commission (UPSC) will conclude the online application process for the 2022 Civil Service (Preliminary) Exam today. Candidates can register for the exam at the official website upsconline.nic.in until 6 p.m. today.
The number of vacancies to be filled through the CSE is 1011. Last week, the Commission added 150 posts in the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) to these vacancies.
The 2022 UPSC CSE Preliminaries will take place on June 5. The exam will consist of two compulsory tests of 200 points each. The two quizzes will be of the objective type (multiple-choice questions) and each will last two hours.
The Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) General Studies Paper-II will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks set at 33%. Questions will be written in Hindi and English.
The Commission will organize a screening test June 5 for selection for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2022 through CSE Preliminaries.
Age limit: The candidate must have reached the age of 21 and must not have reached the age of 32 on August 1, 2022.
Education Qualification: A candidate must hold a graduate degree from any of the Universities incorporated by Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by Act of Parliament or declared be considered a university under Article 3 of the University Grants Commission. 1956 Act or possess an equivalent qualification. Applicants are required to pay the fee of Rs 100, while Female/SC/ST/Disabled reference applicants are exempted from paying the fee.
