Apply for 1271 positions for the 10th pass, salary up to Rs 99345


The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL) has invited applications for the position of Junior Lineman. Those who wish and are eligible to apply will be able to do so from May 19 on the official website,

TSSPDCL is looking forward to recruiting over 1,000 candidates. Of this total, 1,000 will be recruited for JLM positions, and 201 assistant engineer (electrical) positions and 70 assistant engineer (electrical) positions. However, the number of vacancies is subject to variation according to the needs of the company.

To select candidates, a written exam would be administered. It will be worth 80 points and will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions, each worth one point. Section A contains 65 questions on basic ITI topics, while Section B contains 15 questions on general knowledge. The written exam will last two hours. According to the official announcement, the exam will take place on July 17, 2022. The last day for submitting the application is June 8. According to the notification, the selected applicants will receive up to Rs 99,345.

TSSPDCL 2022 line fitter recruitment: Eligibility criteria

Education: To be eligible for the vacancy, a candidate must possess SSLC/SSC/10th Class with ITI Qualification in Electrical Trade/Wiremaker or two years of Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Trade.

“If there is any deviation from the above qualification for the above position, candidates must produce the equivalency certificate from the authority issuing the certificate of qualification, i.e. the Secretary of the Institute /Council to accept his application.The decision of the TSSPDCL on equivalency and relevant qualification is final,” the official notice reads.

Age limit: Since January 1, 2022, a candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 35. For SC/ST/BC/EWS applicants, the upper age limit has been relaxed to five years.

TSSPDCL recruitment line editor 2022: exam fees

The online application processing fee is Rs 200 for each applicant. Apart from this, aspirants have to pay Rs 120 for the examination fee. However, candidates in the SC/ST/BC categories, as well as those in the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), are exempt from paying the examination fee.
