The Personnel Selection Commission will proceed with the recruitment for 334 job categories with 1920 vacancies (provisionally) from different Ministries/Departments/Organizations of Government of India through Phase X/2022/Computer Based Selection Positions (CBE) Examination in 9 Regional Offices of Personnel Selection Board. In the official recruitment notice, applicants should carefully read the Essential Qualification (EQ) as good as Desirable Qualification (DQ). In line with government guidelines, there will be no interview process for SSC junior level positions. The online exam will only take place in regions/sub-regions (headquarters)/cities/centers. Regional offices will request hard copies of online applications and certificates/supporting documents from qualified candidates for the computer-based examination in the following report, in accordance with the vacancies of the particular category of positions:-

  1. In a ratio of 1:20, up to 5 vacancies for any category of Positions.
  2. In a ratio of 1:10, for more than 5 vacancies for any category of positions, subject to a minimum of 100.

The regional office will call the required number of candidates (in a ratio of 1:10) for Document Verification (DV) for a particular category of positions subject to the availability of eligible candidates.

The SSC Selection Posts Phase-10 2022 exam will be conducted as three separate IT exams consisting of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs), for positions with a minimum educational qualification of Matriculation, upper secondary and diploma and higher levels.   • There will be 0.50 point negative marking for each wrong answer.

  • The Commission will lead Proficiency tests like typing test, data entry test, computer proficiency test, etc., where prescribed in the essential qualification and such tests will be of a qualifying nature.

Answer keys will be posted on the Board’s website after the exam. Candidates can consult the answer keys corresponding to their test form and submit observations, if necessary within the time limit set by the Commission via the online modality only, upon payment of Rs.100/- per answer. Any comments regarding the answer key received within the time limit set by the Commission at the time of the answer key upload will be considered and the Commission’s decision in this regard will be final. No representation concerning the corrected will be accepted thereafter.

The scores/ratings of the selected candidates will only be disclosed/made available on the relevant regional office website at the time of the declaration of the final result for the particular category of positions. The scores of all other candidates who participated in the computer-based examination for any category of positions will only be made available on the Commission’s website after declaration of the complete results of all categories of positions advertised under this Notice of Phase-X /2022/Selection Of Positions.
