JKSSB Examinations Begin Today, 80,000 Candidates Apply | Competitive exams

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) said on Saturday that nearly 80,000 unique applicants are required to sit for various exams that will begin today. Examinations will be held until January 12 at 21 centers in Jammu, Kathua, Srinagar, Budgam and Baramulla districts.


Admission cards of all candidates who registered for the exam have been published and are available on the official website, jkssb.nic.in.

“Any candidate who cannot find their admission card must go to the central office of the J&K services selection committee, Hema complex, sector -3, Channi Himmat, Jammu or to the camp office of the J&K services selection committee,” Zum Zum building, Rambagh, Srinagar with evidence to support his claim, ”the JKSSB informed the applicants.

There will be a negative mark for the wrong answers (0.25 for each wrong answer) attempted in the said exam.

“Adequate security measures have been put in place in each examination center. Relevant district magistrates have issued prohibition orders under article 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) around examination centers during the examination, ”said the JKSSB.
