In a major relief, the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) cleared the candidates, who were unable to take/attempt the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 Paper 1 (First Shift) on December 16 2021 due to technical problems, take the exam again.

In accordance with a notice issued by the CBSE, candidates who failed to appear for the CTET 2021 Paper 1 exam on December 16 of last year, may reappear for the exam on January 17, 2022 in the second shift, i.e. from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. pm.

Applicants can view the official notice regarding the announcement on the official website of CTET–ctet.nic.in.

“It was noticed that some of the candidates were unable to complete/attempt the exam for Paper 1 (First Team) on 12/16/2021 due to technical issues,” the CBSE said in the notice. public.

“These candidates are hereby informed that their paper 1 exam will be held on 2022-01-17 (Monday) in second shift, i.e. 2:30-5:00 p.m.,” the CBSE added.

The revised admission cards have been uploaded on the website and candidates are advised to upload their revised admission cards and appear for the examination at the respective centers according to the revised schedule accordingly, read the CBSE Notice .

However, the request to change the exam city, exam center and exam date will not be considered, the letter adds.

CTET is a central level teacher eligibility test that allows candidates to apply for teaching jobs after passing the exam. Eligibility for a CTET certificate from this year has been extended to life, which means that after passing the CTET once, a candidate can apply for a job at any time.
