Nagaland Government Issues SOPs for HSLC and HSSLC Exams 2022

Dimapur, February 19 (EMN): With the 2022 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) 2022 exams just weeks away, the state Department of the Interior has issued safety measures for students and staff to prevent the spread of disease during the conduct of the examinations.

HSLC exams will be conducted in offline mode from March 9-22 and HSSLC exams from March 8-31.

The order stated that only 50% capacity would be allowed in the exam room. All invigilators, examiners, etc. examination centers must be asymptomatic and fully vaccinated (both doses) against Covid-19 or test negative for the disease once every 15 days.

Symptomatic, physically able candidates or students may appear for examinations in a separate room by producing a negative Covid report taken no earlier than 48 hours.

However, those who test positive for the virus will not be allowed to take the exam. They will have another chance to appear for the subject they were unable to write, at a later date this year.

Students will be allowed to carry pocket hand sanitizer (50ml), water in clear bottles and other essentials. The order went on to state that students, invigilators, examiners and everyone involved in conducting exams should follow Covid-appropriate behavior, including wearing a face mask at all times.
