The Union Civil Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification of the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (I) Examination, 2022. Applicants can view and download the form official notification on the official website

The online application process for the UPSC NDA / NA (I) 2022 exam has started and the last day to apply is January 11, 2022 (6:00 p.m.). Applicants can apply on the website.

UPSC will conduct the NDA 1 2022 exam on April 10, 2022, for admission into the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 149th course and for the 111th course. of the Indian Naval Academy (INAC) from January 2, 2023. The approximate number of vacancies to be filled on the results of this review will be 400.

The subjects of the UPSC NDA written examination include mathematics and the general aptitude test for 300 and 600 points respectively. Articles in all subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

(iii) Ground tasks (non-technical) – ten (including 02 for the candidates)
Naval Academy (10 + 2 Cadet Entrance Scheme) 30 (for male applicants only)

Eligibility criteria

Age: Only single male / female applicants born on July 2, 2003 at the earliest and July 1, 2006 at the latest are eligible.

Qualification for education:

For the army squadron of the National Defense Academy: Successful completion of class 12 of the 10 + 2 model of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a National Board of Education or a university.

For NDA Air Force and Navy Wings and for the 10 + 2 Cadet Entry Program to the NA: Class 12 passes with physics, chemistry and mathematics from the 10 + 2 model of school education or equivalent.

Candidates who sit for the class 12 exam or equivalent may also register for this exam.

Selection process

Admission to the NDA / NA courses will be based on the results of the written examination to be conducted by the UPSC, followed by an intelligence and personality test by the selection committee of the candidate services. qualify for the written examination test.

Registration fees

Applicants (except SC / ST / Female Applicants / Wards of JCO / NCOs / ORs applicants) are required to pay a fee of Rs 100 either online by depositing the money at any SBI branch in cash.
