REET 2021 results reported, what’s next

The Rajasthan Secondary Education Council (RBSE) announced the results of the written exam for the 2021 Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Examination (REET) on Tuesday, November 2. Those who have passed the exam will be called for a personal interview by the board.

The interview will be based on the candidate’s choice and his list of merit as well as his diploma. Selected candidates who pass the interview round will be posted to public schools across the state based on vacancies. In accordance with the examination notification, only candidates crossing a certain threshold, defined by category, will be considered qualified. Applicants scoring 60 percent or more are considered qualified.

Applicants must have graduated with 50 percent marks and passed or be present in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd). The exam is for two levels – for those who wish to teach at the primary level, i.e. classes 1 to 5, and the secondary level which is classes 6 to 8. Previously, the test certificates of Teacher eligibility were valid 7 years later, the Department of Education changed. that for life.

During this time, RBSE retained the result of level 1 for the BEd and the DLEd. DP Jarauli, Chairman of the Board, informed that following a court order in Rajasthan, the result of the BEd and DLEd candidates, who took the REET level 1 exam, have been selected. It is only after the court verdict that the results will be published.

In addition, the results of the 2021 REET aspirants who were found using unfair means have also been withheld and an investigation is underway for the same and the council will take necessary action against the culprits.

REET is an annual examination organized by the BSER to select eligible candidates for teaching positions in public schools. Candidates who have taken the written test can check their results on the official exam website – reetbser21.com. REET 2021 was held on September 26 of this year and exam answers were released on October 24.
