Second session of the JEE Main 2022 today


The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Session 2 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency for 6,29,778 candidates at various centers spread across 500 cities nationwide and 17 cities outside India starting today, that is July 25th. It will start with paper 1 or BE, paper B.Tech.

The JEE Mains Session 2 exam will take place in two shifts, the first one between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. which has already started, and the next one from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The NTA has made admission cards available for review on its official website i.e. The admission card also contains a self-declaration form which will be signed by parents and applicants.

In the form, they will need to record their health and recent travel history. They must sign it at the examination center in the presence of an invigilator. “Candidates are advised to carefully read and adhere to the subject-specific instructions and other instructions mentioned in the question paper,” NTA said.

The exam will be conducted in the form of multiple choice questions and numerical questions, while the BE or B.Tech paper of JEE Mains will have three sections — Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry — with a total of 90 questions .

Handbags, phones, watches, and jewelry are not permitted at JEE Mains Examination Centers, while candidates must carry an admission card, self-declaration form , photo, valid photo ID, bottle of water, hand sanitizer and PwD certificate if applicable.
