As part of the ongoing movement of students demanding safe roads, the protesters announced that they would stage a protest against the disorganization and corruption in the traffic system by posting cartoons on the sidewalks near the bridge area of Rampura Saturday December 4.

In view of the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams, the protesters decided not to block the roads so that candidates can reach their exam centers on time, said Shohagi Samia, a coordinator of the movement.
As the students wanted to start their protest around 10 a.m. on Friday, police asked them to change locations and stand on one side of the road.

Later, the students gathered in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rampura traffic area.
