UGC NET 2022: NTA will issue an official notification for the June exam; check more details


NTA UGC NET 2022 Notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon open its application window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on its official website. However, the online application link will only be activated after the official notification is posted.

The UGC NET exam is held twice a year (June and December) to determine eligibility for Assistant Professorship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities and Colleges.

The exam will be conducted in online mode at various exam centers in India.

UGC NET Exam 2022: Official Notification

The official notification of UGC NET Exam June 2022 will be posted on the official website in March or April. Therefore, applicants are advised to keep their eyes on the official website of NTA UGC NET –

The notification will contain information on the opening and closing date of online registration as well as the dates for correcting the application. Aspirants who want to become a professor or a lecturer in a recognized university or college can apply for this exam.

UGC NET 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Qualification for Education

To apply for the UGC NET Exam June 2022, candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Age limit:

  • For the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – 31 years old
  • For SC/ST/OBC/Female/PwD/Transgender applicants, there will be an age relaxation of up to 5 years.

Registration fees:

  • For General Category – Rs 1000
  • For OBC/EWS- Rs 500
  • For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender – Rs 250

Important appointments-
