T20 World Cup: The permutations and combinations to figure out the points table and the net run rate (NRR) in any cricket tournament are no less than any difficult math exam, but Wasim Jaffer has a solution to the problem.

The fix came from a very famous Bollywood movie!

Yes, you heard right. Former cricketer Wasim Jaffer shared a Bollywood film meme Dhamaal to explain the semi-final qualifying scenario for India and Australia. Jaffer posted a photo of a popular scene where the life and death of one person depends on the actions of the other.

The analogy is quite similar to the current T20 World Cup situation where India is hoping Afghanistan will win their last game, while Australia is hoping England will win their last group game, to survive.

Take a look at the meme shared by Jaffer:

A fun post by Jaffer answers questions from many fans who want to know the semi-final qualifying scenarios.

It should be noted that by winning four group stage matches Pakistan and England have already qualified for the semi-finals of this year’s T20 World Cup.

India’s final qualifying image will be clear after Sunday when Afghanistan takes on New Zealand at 3:30 p.m. IST.
